Miltec UV offers open mesh conveyor belts made from woven fiberglass or kevlar coated with TeflonTM, giving them superb UV resistant properties. This coating, combined with the excellent strength characteristics and broad operating temperature range (+500°F), results in a product appropriate for use in a variety of demanding drying and UV curing applications. With an open area of 70%, there is a high level of air flow increasing the rate of drying while reducing power consumption.

TIP: When do you choose Kevlar over Fiberglass? Kevlar is recommended if the oven is wet or there is a lot of steam, if the product is heavy or has jagged edges, if the conveyor has small diameter pulleys, if crowned rollers are in use or if a nose bar is present.

Miltec UV offers Single IR emitters and Twin Tube IR Emitters.
Infrared (IR) is defined as invisible radiant energy with longer wavelengths than those of visible light. Infrared Emitters (IR) are a source of light energy in the infrared spectrum opposite that of UV. IR Emitters are a source of heat energy and are used in many industries ranging from wood, food and textiles to hundreds of processes in the automotive industries.
Twin Tube IR emitters are two IR emitters fused together as one. They deliver more power to a smaller area, thus creating a more powerful emitter. Additionally, each twin tube emitter utilizes a 180 degree back reflector that is coated directly on the quartz tube envelope. This coating material is a high purity gold substrate. Gold is the most efficient IR reflective material.
