The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is promoting the safe recycling of certain used lamps, especially high intensity discharge lamps.  Many lamp suppliers take your used lamps back for "free".  This method of “disposal” carries no certification and is not in compliance with EPA standards.  Worrying about improper disposal, many of our customers require certification and have requested that Miltec offer this service.  For a nominal "recycle" fee, Miltec will accept used UV lamps for "recycling" from our customers and will issue a certificate for documentation showing that the lamps were in fact recycled by methods approved by the EPA.
