NEW UV CURING SYSTEMS
Miltec UV equipment is among the highest UV output in the world.   When you buy UV equipment, you are paying for UV output.  When you are considering purchasing UV equipment, always insist that your potential UV equipment vendor provide you with the documented proof of "UV Output" to make sure you are getting what you pay for.
UV SYSTEM LAMP STYLES
Conveyor Mount UV System Configuration with Pneumatic Lift Conveyor Mount Style

The conveyor mount style lamp housing is designed to retrofit your existing conveyor or one provided by Miltec UV.
Optionally, we can provide a pneumatic lift system which raises the hinged lamp system up for clearing product jams or easy inspection of the lamp system.
Light shielding is very important, and we provide light "snouts", in any length and on both product entrance and exit sides, to suit your process environment.
Web Base Mount Style

The split web base lamp style is designed for continuous web applications.  We add a secondary "bottom" vented base section for light shielding beneath the substrate.  The web base is hinged for easy product access and also incorporates a built-in probe guide assembly which allows you to use a probe type radiometer at the exact focal point of the lamp output for accurate UV readings.
For longer and heavier lamps housings, we also offer an optional pneumatic lift system for raising the lamp system.

The specialized fiber and wire lamp system incorporates a highly efficient and tightly focused 360° cure area.

Most fiber and wire processes run at very high speeds, so this lamp system is available up to 20" in arc length and up to 1000 watts per inch.

The internal protective quartz tube and back reflector assembly are easily accessed for cleaning and maintenance.
3D Booth Style

Our 3D booth style lamp system is designed for curing multi-dimensional shaped products.  We can provide the entire booth system or retrofit your existing 3D booth with lamps that can be mounted for swiveling in both the X and Y angle dimensions as well as  the Z (focus) dimension.


The 3D booth style system can be outfitted with either arc lamp or microwave powered UV systems.

Nitrogen Inerted UV Lamp System Nitrogen Inerted Chamber

The nitrogen inerted chamber provides low oxygen environments, as low as 50 ppm, for special curing processes requiring this type of environment.

The air-cooled lamp system is isolated from the curing chamber by easy access quartz filter plates.  The lamp system also has a pneumatic lift system which allows for easy product area access and maintenance. 
The bottom of the cure chamber incorporates water cooled plates for  keeping heat emissions low.
 
Benchtop Conveyorized UV System

Miltec UV’s new Mini-Benchtop UV Conveyor is the perfect economical solution for application laboratories or production environments where a variety of substrates from flat to 3-D objects will be coated and cured. The versatile and user-friendly features of this conveyor and Miltec’s HPI UV lamp are what make it truly unique and well suited for research and development. This conveyor is equipped with Miltec’s variable power level 6 inch HPI UV lamp. The UV lamp is powered by a solid state continuously variable power ballast that can operate Mercury lamps, as well as Iron and Gallium additive lamps. The UV lamp focus adjustment, as well as its part height clearance adjustment, is made quick and easy by a simple push button to raise and lower the lamp and its light shield.

Touch Screen controllers are all programmed to include easy to use maintenance screens that show graphics and photos for on-screen diagnostics of lamp operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Single Lamp Power Supply Cabinet

For single lamp UV systems, we use Nema style enclosures with both top and front door access for very easy servicing.  Each access door is safety interlocked. Each cabinet is completely self contained, including touch screen controls and quarter-turn cable connectors for the lamp housing and variable speed exhaust blower.

We offer both constant wattage (tri-power) and CFB (variable power) type power sources. Power outputs up to 1000 watts per inch are available and lamp types include standard mercury, iron, lead and gallium additive.  The enclosure is well vented and cooled by two high efficiency fans, which prolongs the life of the ballast and support components.

For dual lamp UV systems up to 36" arc length, we use Nema style enclosures with both top and split front door access for very easy servicing.  Each access door is safety interlocked.  Each cabinet is completely self contained, including touch screen controls and quarter-turn cable connectors for each lamp housing and each variable speed exhaust blower.

We offer only the constant wattage (tri-power) in this type of enclosure due to space limitations.  For the CFB option, we use the taller multi-lamp enclosure shown below.  Power outputs up to 1000 watts per inch are available and lamp types include standard mercury, iron, lead and gallium additive.

This enclosure is abundantly vented and cooled by three high efficiency fans, which prolongs the life of the ballasts and support components.

For large multi-lamp UV systems, we use Nema style enclosures with key-lock front door access for very easy servicing.  Each access door is safety interlocked.

Each combined cabinet is completely self contained, including touch screen controls and quarter-turn cable connectors for each lamp housing and each variable speed exhaust blower.  Remote control station is available as an option.

We offer both constant wattage (tri-power) and CFB (variable power) type power sources.  Power outputs up to 1000 watts per inch are available and lamp types include standard mercury, iron, lead and gallium additive.  The combined enclosure is well vented and cooled by four high efficiency fans, which prolongs the life each ballast and its support components.
