Fundraising: LLS Team in Training

Beth Mosner, our Sales & Marketing Administrator, is a big supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Her niece was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in 2012 and was just declared a Cancer Survivor in June 2017.  Beth runs in honor of loved ones lost, in support of those fighting the battle and for all cancer survivors.

The LLS Team in Training started in 1988 and has become the leader in endurance sports training for charity. Beth spends about 6 months out of the year training and raising funds for the LLS Team in Training. Last year, she ran the Disney LLS TNT Martathon with a goal of raising $2,800 (she raised $3,110). This year she hopes to raise $3,200 to support the Society and help find a cure for blood cancer.

Beth said that she has wanted to sign up since the day she finished the last marathon! “Being part of the Team in Training was so powerful and uplifting that I decided to sign up again! The encouragement, love, compassion and support of the LLS organization inspired me so much that I want to continue to be a part of the Team in Training for as long as I can.”

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
